Trying to get what you want keeps it from you.

Effort is another word for resistance.

Wanting to get what you seek keeps it in the future.

Non-resistance to what you ask for brings it instantly.

This Holy Instant is the end of wanting.

In this world effort is rewarded by frustration.

The happiness you seek comes naturally without any effort at all.

Let go and let God; the God That You Are gives you the happiness you seek.

All effort is in vain, and vanity is your worst enemy.

Vanity is another word for the ego, your separated self.

Without the strength of The God That You Are, effort is fruitless.

Non-resistance is the limitless power of The God That You Are.

Non-resistance can even overcome gravity.

No matter how grave a problem, it will fly away when faced with non-resistance.

Even dying gives way to immortal life when we stop trying.

Life in this world is a trying experience.

  1. Pretty heavy stuff Stan. I think I get what you are trying to say about resistance, but I have to resist. I have always figured that God helps those who help themselves. I have trouble letting him take over my life completely, letting him control everything about me and offering no effort or resistance.

  2. The God I’m talking about is the God that you yourself are Jim. Go inside to find Him and my blog will make sense to you.
