Winning and Losing

In Spirituality on March 23, 2011 at 2:34 am

Winning and losing are not opposites. Losing is the absence of winning. Winning is our natural state. To win is to grow. To grow is to learn. We grow by learning. We learn by experience. Experience is blocked by doubt. Learning causes constant and never ending improvement.  To learn is to experience that which is. To learn by experience is to win. To not learn is to grow old and die. Death comes from hardening of the attitudes. A life of learning is an immortal life. When memories replace experiences, we die. He who lives in the past sees only death as his future.

  1. I really liked the words in “Winning and Losing.” As usual you find words to describe familiar things in a new, unusual, thoughtful, stimulating, and provocative ways.

  2. Enjoyed reading this, will check back soon!
